Sixty MEPs urge emergency EU meeting on sanctions against Israel
In a letter to Kaja Kallas, lawmakers from several groups called the West Bank blockade collective punishment and cited Hebron families given minutes to leave.

Sixty members of the European Parliament from several political groups wrote to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on Monday evening asking her to convene an urgent meeting of foreign ministers to agree sanctions on the Israeli government, WAFA reported.
The lawmakers said the blockade imposed on the West Bank since Friday amounted to collective punishment and linked it to Israel's election. They cited demolitions in Hebron where, they said, some families were given no more than five minutes to leave.
“a decisive turning point for the future of the West Bank and the viability of a Palestinian state”
