A six-year-old girl, Tihani Mohammad Saeed Shalalfeh, died on Tuesday morning of wounds from Israeli gunfire in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, WAFA reported.

The agency also reported a tank shell fired north of al-Bureij camp, gunfire from military vehicles towards the eastern edge of al-Maghazi camp, and heavy firing in the al-Alam and al-Shakoush areas west of Rafah.

A UN-mandated inquiry said this week that at least 196 Palestinians, including 32 boys and 11 girls, have been killed by Israeli fire along the advancing front line since the October 2025 ceasefire. The Israeli military says it fires at people who approach the so-called Yellow Line and pose a threat.
