Settlers attack olive pickers in Beit Kahil as harvest incidents pass 480
A Palestinian commission says it has recorded 482 attacks on the olive harvest in nine West Bank governorates since picking began this month.

Settlers backed by Israeli troops attacked olive harvesters in Beit Kahil, north-west of Hebron, on Monday, trying to assault farmer Ahmad Salman al-Atawneh, his son and three grandchildren, WAFA reported. Settlers also planted Israeli flags on land in the nearby Wadi al-Quf area.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said it had documented 482 attacks on the harvest by Sunday, across nine governorates. They included assaults, farmers being driven off their land and the theft of crops and equipment, it said.
The commission warned that attacks near settlements and outposts were stopping families from picking their own trees, at a time when army closures already limit access to farmland.
