How KEVLA CAMPA started
KEVLA CAMPA started in a composite workshop, not a caravan factory.
After two decades building boat hulls out of laminate, the team kept being asked the same question by friends towing vans across the country: why does a caravan leak after three seasons when a hull does not?
The answer was in how the two things are built. A hull is moulded in one piece. A caravan is framed, clad and sealed at every joint, and every one of those joints is a future problem.
So we built the caravan the way we build hulls: a single Kevlar and carbon fibre monocoque, light enough for a mid-size tow vehicle and stiff enough for the tracks people actually use.

WHAT WE WON’T DO.
-
01
ADD WEIGHT FOR THE SPEC SHEET
Every kilo has to earn its place. If a feature does not survive a tow across corrugations, it does not go on.
-
02
HIDE A PROBLEM BEHIND SEALANT
Where a joint can be designed out, it is designed out rather than sealed and forgotten.
-
03
BUILD MORE THAN WE CAN CHECK
One model, made to order. Every shell is inspected by the person who laid it up.
